A Brief History of Our Church

Arbor Church (formerly Kemp Road Baptist Church) began in the 1960’s in Beavercreek, OH. Over the years, the small church faithfully proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ but struggled to grow. In early 1990’s the church wrestled with whether it should close its doors. In God’s providence, the members decided to continue. In 2004 Steve Woodman was called to pastor the church. Over the next decade, the church continued to steadily grow and exceeded the capacity of the building on Kemp Road. In 2015, the church acquired a larger building in East Dayton and changed its name to Arbor Church. In 2023, Ryan Stern was called to serve as one of the pastors of the church.
